Experience

I currently work at Paschal High School as a college admissions mentor. I have been working in high schools for four years now, helping students with anything and everything, ranging from their homework to applying for their FAFSA's. I also help them study for their AP and SAT exams. I love my job and I love being able to help students from my community. I have found fulfillment in helping others and it really feels good to know I made a difference. I took an AP test in Spanish and made a 4. Spanish is also my first language. I graduated high school when I was 16 and will be graduating TCU at 20. I took statistics at TCU and made a B. Algebra, statistics, and math were always my strong subjects in high school. My major requires a lot of writing, therefore my writing skills are pretty good. I am extremely organized and study about 90% of the time. I feel that in order to be successful in school, organization and dedication are key. I am a Community Scholar at TCU. I earned a full ride scholarship for four years. The scholarship I earned is only given to one student per year, and in the year of 2010, I won it. I also volunteer for Fort Worth ISD in the Student Engagement and Completion Department. I am planning on attending law school in the fall of 2014.
